The Costa
Blanca North
Spain’s
Northern Costa Blanca is a beautiful unspoilt region,
located between the international airports of Alicante in
the south and Valencia to the north. Both are served by a
multitude of regular and low-cost airlines, ensuring
excellent year-round access. Scattered along the coast is a
series of picturesque towns and villages, originally mostly
fishing-based but increasingly geared towards services and
leisure pursuits.
The largest town
is Denia with the smaller coastal centres of Javea, Moraira
and Altea stretching to the south. Here you will discover a
combination of sandy and pebble beaches, spectacular cliffs,
pine-clad hillsides and a multitude
of
leisure, shopping, entertainment and gourmet options.
Turn inland and
within minutes find yourself a world away amidst vineyards,
almond and olive groves. The local wine variety is Moscatel
with plenty of tasting opportunities in the local bodegas!
